In Chinese folklore the frog represents the lunar yin, and the Frog spirit is associated with healing and good fortune. Frogs also serve to remind us when we are lacking in understanding and vision -- it is said a frog sitting at the bottom of a well thinks the opening 'is the entire sky'.
