ethnic Nepalese antique graduating brass beads inlaid with turquoise, covered with natural coral and turquoise cabochons, found in Tibet circa 1958; restrung on five strands of brass and coral round beads; brass S-hook with coral and turquoise inlay

Originally collected by a British officer as an antique in 1958, supposedly among pieces traded for his wedding rings in Aberdeen, Scotland a few years later. I found it in pieces at an antique shop in Dundee in 1985 and finally restored it last year.

A spectacular statement piece with a long and amazing history.
