Hadara ((c)hah-DAR-eh) - port area of the city of Alexandria, Egypt - Egyptian Arabic

hamazi ((c)hah-MAH-zee) - wild; barbarian - Arabic

haori (hah-AW-ree or HUW-ree) - traditionally worn over kimono, haori are shorter hip- to knee-length jackets designed to hang straight (not wrapped) and often fastened with braided ties called himo. - Japanese

haura (ha-U-rah) - decorative lining of haori jackets, often pictorial - Japanese

hawa ((c)HAH-wah) - wind - Egyptian Arabic

hilal (heh-LAHL) - crescent - Arabic (dialectic)

himo (HEE-moh) - an art in its own right, himo are tasseled braided ties used to fasten haori - Japanese
