We are very deliberate and attempt to be comprehensive in our descriptions and measurements. No matter what our recommended sizing might be, we know every figure is unique -- PLEASE CHECK YOUR MEASUREMENTS USING OUR HOW-TO GUIDE and compare to the measurements of our garments before purchasing. We've created a detailed chart to show you how... click here. We want your anticipated new garments to arrive and thrill you when you slip them on!
» Rather than asking you to pre-pay in full for Special and Pre-orders, you will only be charge an initial 25% down. PAYPAL WILL AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFER THIS CALCULATED AMOUNT AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.

PURCHASING, ORDERING INFO & COLOR AVAILABILITY :::::::::::
Zarabesque prefers to offer ALL possibilities—exactly what you want—rather than limit our customers to a fixed subset of styles and colors, but the drawback is time and patience. With nearly 500 styles multiplied by over 70 color possibilities, please understand we cannot possibly stock everything at once!
We work directly with the manufacturer to offer three ways of placing your order with us. (Click the links below for more information.)
This first method is simple:
Choose from the first menu labeled 'IN STOCK COLORS'. These represent the colors for this style currently available and ready to ship... you know, the usual way of shopping. Easy!
The second is a SPECIAL SERVICE we have always been thrilled to make available.
(IF YOU ARE SHOPPING WITH US FOR THE FIRST TIME, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.... It seems complicated at first but is easy once you've tried it. We promise.)
STEP ONE: Using the second color list ('SPECIAL-ORDER COLORS'), choose any one of our 70+ solid and crystal dyes.
STEP TWO: When you check out, you will now note that each item you pre-order will only be charged at 25% of the total price. (NOTE: Once this custom order goes into production, this down-payment becomes non-refundable.)
STEP THREE: We will invoice you for the remaining balance when these items jave dyed are ready to ship.
PROS: With patience, in the end you receive EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT... well worth the wait!
CONS: The wait can vary from several weeks to many months depending on the color -- exactly when colors dye is not within our control.
This is by far the most popular option among our customers who enjoy custom ordering their favorite styles in particular colors. The steps are exactly the same as SPECIAL ORDERS above, but it features the convenience of knowing the dyes you want are scheduled on the horizon BEFORE placing your order.
HERE'S THEIR SECRET:
The order process is the same as STEPS 1-3 above. EASY!
We recommend that you SIGN UP for our email newsletter -- sent out every Friday morning -- in which we announce upcoming colors that will be vatted within the next 30 days, and the deadlines for placing these orders.
This way, you'll know when your color will dye and the wait is much shorter... of course, there are often delays beyond our control (see below), but most find this preferable to the open-ended method of SPECIAL ORDERING in which you might have a long wait for that color to reach the number of items necessary before they'll dye it.
» When you submit a pre-order, you will only be charged 25% of the total due (plus approximated shipping -- we wish the latter wasn't so but Paypal has no work around for us, sorry) at the time of the order. The 75% balance -- plus any additional shipping -- is not due until your garment(s) is ready to ship. We will invoice you via Paypal if this is how you made the pre-payment or call for permission to re-run your card if you chose this method.
Please note that the pre-payment is nonrefundable once your item(s) is in process.
Invoices must be paid within six weeks of of the date emailed to you. If you need more time, PLEASE call debi to work out a payment plan (see layaway info below). If you do not contact us within that time we will consider your order abandoned and your pre-payment will be forfeit. Again, PLEASE let us know what's going on so that it does not come to this.
» In the case of SPECIAL and PRE-ORDERS, estimated waiting time, depending on your choices, can be as little as one week or as long as three months — rare, but possible. Please be aware that some colors can take longer. The dye schedule/process is the one thing beyond our control absolutely. Frustrating for us, and for you, we know.

Anything not in stock at the time of purchase is considered to be a SPECIAL ORDER. "PRE-ORDER" is a version of SPECIAL ORDER as described above.
When we receive notification of your order, we will contact you via email if there are issues of availability and, if necessary, provide our best estimated waiting time for special orders. Again, the dye schedule is beyond our control, although we always do what we can to keep waiting time to a minimum -- we know you want your treasures as soon as possible!
If there is a waiting period, we offer these options including, but not limited to:
- choose another color currently available in your style of choice
- choose another style currently available in your color of choice
Again, PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THE NEWSLETTER TO KEEP UP-TO-DATE ON THE DYE SCHEDULE!
As a courtesy, we email every Friday when the schedule is made available to us. This has proved to be a convenient way for you to plan ahead!
IMPORTANT NOTE: whether you opt in for our newsletter or not, PLEASE ADD "Zarabesque.com" to your address book! We find many customers discover order confirmation emails have been gobbled up by their junk mail filters.
PLEASE TAKE THIS IMPORTANT STEP TO AVOID MISCOMMUNICATIONS... we do our best to contact you and do not want you to miss our confirmations etc. because you do not add us to your address list!
» One last note: The IN-STOCK color list for each item is updated manually, usually within hours of a sale; therefore, it is possible a color might still show in the list after it has sold... first come, first served in these cases .IF YOU NEED SOMETHING IMMEDIATELY, PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR COLOR AVAILABILITY BEFORE PURCHASING.
» Payment is preferred via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, this quick, safe and secure method takes only minutes to set up.
» If you wish to pay directly by credit card or set up a layaway account, please call debi at 510.595.3396 during general hours listed below.
Shipping times for all special and pre-orders will vary based on production schedules, and delays could be significant.
Normal processing of in-stock orders is 7 working days. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail anywhere in the US. If you need your order expedited, please call or email at time of purchase. If you need your order Next Day, additional fees will be invoiced via PayPal and must be paid before the order ships. (Relevant to in-stock colors only... again, please call or email for availability before placing your order.)
We offer free shipping for US orders totaling $300 or more if no other discount has been applied.
International shipping is via USPS Global Priority, usually en route a minimum of 6-14 days depending on location.
» In-stock purchases may be returned within 10 days from receipt under most circumstances at our discretion for exchange or store credit. Cash-back returns on in-stock items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
» You must contact us to receive RETURN AUTHORIZATION before posting any return to avoid incurring unnecessary fees and postage. Unauthorized returns are subject to refusal by Zarabesque.
» NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED for SPECIAL and/or PRE-ORDERS. Items ordered with an asterisk (*) after the color name fall in this category of pre-orders. Store credit may be issued but will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Again, please contact us before returning to avoid incurring unnecessary fees and postage. And again, returns must be received within 10 days of notification or package is subject to refusal.
» Store credit is limited to in-stock items only. We kindly request you use this credit anytime during the same calendar year. Please feel free to call debi for assistance to help you find the right match for you.
» We do our best with the technology available to represent colors on our website and further describe them in our newsletter. If you have any questions, please call.
» NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON MARKDOWNS, SALE OR DISCOUNTED ITEMS. NO RETURNS ON LEATHER OR JEWELRY PRODUCTS. NO REFUNDS ON SHIPPING.
»Authorized items MUST be returned in perfect condition as a courtesy to the next customer. Items that have had their paper tags removed, have been worn and/or laundered, sprayed to mask odors etc. are not eligible for return, exchange or store credit.
